MCIS 2012 Preface

The 7th Mediterranean Conference on Information Systems (MCIS2012), with the theme “Adopting Emergent Knowledge and Technologies to Develop Innovative Information Systems (CloudWisdom)” aimed to inspire innovative and informative information systems (IS) researches in order to promote smart, sustainable and inclusive growth in the Mediterranean region. In this aspect, to raise the visibility of IS researches and incorporate learning policy and practice, MCIS 2012 was a distinctive platform of information interchange and knowledge acquisition. With the evolution of technologies, innovative IS are capable of supporting a vast clientele, thus customers, suppliers, or other agencies through the creation of new solutions and innovations. These systems can also provide day-to-day customer transaction processing with appropriate reporting. Furthermore, incorporating new information architecture, along with evolving strategies on the free flow of IS, can generate
