and LiCo 05A1050 2 targets were produced by sintering powders of the desired target. The substrates for the films were conductive (200)-textured SnO2 on both fused silica and Coming 7059 glass produced at NREL using a chemical vapor deposition process. Structural Characterization Phase purity, crystallinity and texture were determined using XRD on a Scintag 4-circle diffractometer with Cu-Kct radiation. Metals stoichiometry and film densities were determined by inductively coupled plasma (ICP) analysis. Film thickness measurements were made on a DekTak III profilometer.

Electrochemical Testing All electrochemical testing was conducted in an Ar atmosphere with H20 and 02 levels
