Lack of efficacy, and flatulence and abdominal discomfort: case report A 27-day-old boy exhibited no control of generalised tonic-clonic seizures following treatment with phenobarbital. Later, at the age of 27 years, he developed flatulence and abdominal discomfort during treatment with magnesium aspartate for familial hypomagnesemia with secondary hypocalcemia (FHSH).
