The aim of this book is to identify regional aspect of Industry 4.0 (I4.0+). The concept of I4.0 is spreading worldwide and readiness models exist to determine organisational or national maturity. However, the regional perspective of the digital transformation is neglected, although it significantly determines how the concept of Industry 4.0 can be introduced to the organisations.
