Mike Quick Named Presidential Adviser on MRS Development L.M. Quick, director of corporate research at Engelhard Corporation, Edison, N e w Jersey, was recently appointed to the newly created position of Presidential Adviser on MRS Development. In making the announcement, MRS Président Bob Chang emphasized, "Mike has done a superb job as chairman of the MRS Corporate Participation Committee. I a m confident that he will d o an excellent job in this n e w position as adviser o n MRS development." Chang indicated that one of Mike's first duties would be to develop resources for n e w MRS awards. " D u r i n g t h e past couple of years," C h a n g said, "the Society has not only seen the rapid expansion of its membership, b u t also a n unprecedented increase in n e w activities a n d projects to serve its members and the matériels community. O u r m e m bers a n d volunteers are excited about our future a n d our potential for n e w accomplishments. In his n e w rôle, Mike will enable MRS to seek out a n d make the most of the m a n y
