Mycophenolate mofetil embryopathy following in utero exposure : case report In a study, 184 live births from singleton pregnancies in 145 women were evaluated, of whom, a neonate [age and sex not stated] was described, who developed mycophenolate mofetil embryopathy following in-utero exposure of mycophenolate mofetil. The neonate’s mother had a history of systemic lupus erythematosus and became pregnant. During pregnancy, she started receiving hydroxychloroquine and mycophenolate mofetil [dosages not stated]. However, a child was born with mycophenolate mofetil embryopathy [outcome not stated] following maternal exposure of mycophenolate mofetil during pregnancy. Haase I, et al.
