Chris Pierson is Professor of Politics at the University of Nottingham. His many books include Beyond the Welfare State?, Socialism After Communism and Hard Choices. He is currently involved in a project investigating the normative foundations of private property.
Sigrid Leitner is Assistant Professor for Social Policy at the Department of Sociology, University of Goettingen, Germany. Her research areas are comparative social policy, gender and social policy, state theory, pension policy and family policy.
Jos de Beus is Professor of Political Theory at the Department of Political Science of the University of Amsterdam.
Jeannette Mak is Post Doc Researcher at the Department of Political Science of the University of Amsterdam and fellow of the Amsterdam School for Social Science Research.
John Ishiyama is a Professor of Political Science and Director for the Ronald E. McNair program at Truman State University in Kirksville Missouri. He has published extensively on political parties, democratization and postcommunist politics. He is author/ editor of three books and 65 journal articles. He is also currently Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Political Science Education.
