Diabetes insipidus: case report A 29-year-old man developed diabetes insipidus following intentional ingestion of an olanzapine overdose. The man had been taking olanzapine 10mg twice daily since his diagnosis of schizophrenia 4 years previously. He was admitted to the ICU after ingesting 56 olanzapine 10mg tablets in a suicide attempt. Upon admission, he was unconscious, with sinus tachycardia.
