Infiltration injury: case report In an observational, retrospective study of patients, who presented to an inpatient plastic surgery consultations for IV infiltration from 2011 to 2017, a neonate [sex and exact age not stated] was described, who developed infiltration injury following IV infiltration of parenteral nutrition supplements. The neonate had IV infiltration of parenteral nutrition supplements [total parenteral nutrition; dosage not stated]. However, the neonate developed infiltration injury [duration of treatment to reaction onset not stated]. The neonate was managed with elevation, observation and local wound care.
