Globalization has been defined as ‘the intensification of worldwide social relations which link distant localities in such a way that local happenings are shaped by events occurring many miles away and vice versa’. This phenomenon of escalation of relationships across nations has been made possible by various factors, the most important being the global communication network supported by fast development in digital connectivity in unbroken ubiquitous manner.
