A Bibliometrics Analysis on Academic Influence of Chinese Journal of Integrated Traditional and Western Medicine LI Meng1 and WENG Pan-Feng2 Objective:: To illustrate the academic influence of Chinese Journal of Integrated Traditional and ABSTRACT Objective Methods:: Taking the China Western medicine , and provide suggestions for further development of the Journal. Methods National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) database as main source and the Chinese Science Citation Database (CSCD) as reference, the researchers retrieved the related data of the Journal such as its publication quantity, citations, fund projects, authors, institutions and regions from 1981 to 2018, analyzed these data by means of Results:: bibliometrics and information visualization with EXCEL, SPSS, VISIO, MATLAB and other softwares. Results Through the analysis of the main indicators, the relevant indicators of the Journal's academic influence revealed the developing trend of the Journal. Cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, endocrine, digestive system, pharmacological research of Chinese medicine and gynecology, as the hot topics in the discipline and academic, Conclusions:: All indicators show that the Journal is a high-quality journal reflecting the excellent were clarified. Conclusions achievements in the field of integrated Chinese and Western medicine in China. Through further analysis of relevant indicators, the authors put forward some specific suggestions on how to run the Journal well. KEYWORDS Chinese Journal of Integrated Traditional and Western Medicine , academic influence, impact factor, highly cited author, highly cited literature The Chinese Journal of Integrated Traditional and Western Medicine (CJITWM) is sponsored by the Chinese Association of Integrative Medicine and the Chinese Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences. It was founded in 1981, and is regarded as the sister of the later-established Chinese Journal of Integrative Medicine (English version). Over the past 40 years, with the meticulous organization of academician CHEN Keji, the editor-in chief, and the great efforts of his editorial team, the Journal has grown into a well-known academic publication. Now it is one of the source journals of the Chinese Science Citation Database (CSCD), a high quality Chinese technological periodical, and has been selected as the honorary title of "100 Outstanding Academic Journals" in China 15 times consecutively. There have been specific studies on the Journal, but most of them are out of date and concentrated in a certain column or a certain period of time.(1-10) Based on quantitative analysis method, this article conducted a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of the Journal.
