Preface
The TranSopot 2017 conference is a continuation of a long series of conferences devoted to the topic of the transport sector development. The goal of the conference is to exchange views on the current trends in the transport growth and to spread the results of conducted research. The main purpose of the conference is to integrate researchers and practitioners in the field of transport, shipping, and logistics. With that point in mind, “TranSopot 2018 Conference: Transport Development Challenges in the 21st century” has been held from 28 to 30 May, 2018, at the Faculty of Economics, University of Gdańsk. The proceedings of the conference are presented in this book. Transport is a very specific area of social and economic life.
