This book has been written in response to frequently asked questions about corpusbased translation studies: (1) Where do corpus-based translation studies come from, and where does it go? (2) Are corpus-based translation studies the application of corpora in translation studies or a research paradigm? (3) In what way are corpusbased translation studies different from traditional approaches to translation studies? (4) How can we conduct the research of corpus-based translation studies? Each of these questions is addressed by theoretical explorations, introduction of case studies, and the use of figures and tables.
