Mechanics of Oil and Gas Flow in Porous Media
This book discusses various aspects of percolation mechanics. It starts with the driving forces and driving modes and then examines in detail the steady state percolation of single-phase incompressible fluids, percolation law of natural gas and percolatio

Preface
“Mechanics of fluid flow in porous media” is an independent branch of fluid mechanics, which is formed by the interpenetration of fluid mechanics, rock mechanics, porous media theory, surface physics and physical chemistry. “Mechanics of fluid flow in porous media” studies the flow law in porous media, which is the theoretical basis of a variety of disciplines and engineering technology. Meanwhile, it is also widely studied in percolation at the bottom of the dam, soil amelioration, chemical engineering, metallurgy, ceramics and other industries besides the study of percolation in oil and gas reservoirs. However, this book only deals with the oil and gas percolation in addition to the basic theory, so the mechanics of fluid flow in porous media unrelated to oil is not introduced in this book. In oil and gas industry, the course “Mechanics of fluid flow in porous media” is a professio
