Abstract. This article considers the ensuring of secure data processing in distributed computer systems (DCSs), which is important for a certain class of computing tasks. An approach to the resource management in DCSs is proposed that makes it possible to take into account, according to user requirements, both the time spent on the execution of a task and the security level of the system resources involved in its execution. Keywords: distributed computing, resource management, task scheduling, secure data processing, computing node state monitoring, local data agent. INTRODUCTION At present, the strategy of execution of complicated computing tasks is shifted from the use of supercomputers to the use of distributed computer systems (DCSs), in particular, GRID systems that allow one to unite geographically distributed computational resources for executing complicated computations. Moreover, researchers pay increasing attention to the involvement of mobile devices in executing computations in DCSs, for example, in GRID systems [1, 2]. At the same time, the implementation of distributed computer systems requires the solution of a number of complicated problems among which is task scheduling and distribution of resources between tasks. Efficient resource distribution is one of the main features required of high-performance computer systems, and the mechanism of distribution of resources is considered as the central theme of high-performance computing [3]. In addition to the efficient distribution of resources, the procedure of resource management in DCSs should provide the level of quality of service (QoS) required by the user. The quality of service is determined by a set of parameters among which task execution time and cost of service are considered to be main. Nevertheless, using DCSs for processing data, the user must be sure that their privacy and integrity is ensured, which testifies to the need for taking into account data processing security during distributed resource management. REVIEW OF EXISTING APPROACHES TO THE RESOURCE MANAGEMENT IN DISTRIBUTED COMPUTER SYSTEMS At present, a great number of approaches to the resource management in DCSs are developed. Task scheduling for different types of DCSs has individual specifics because of different system architectures and their functional indices. 1
