Pulmonary toxicity: case report A retrospective analysis identified a 60-year-old man who developed pulmonary toxicity while receiving topotecan for small cell lung cancer. The man, who had interstitial lung disease associated with lung cancer, started second-line treatment with topotecan 1 mg/m2 (from day 1 to day 5, every 3 weeks) [route not stated]. After two cycles, a CT scan showed worsening ground glass opacity. Topotecan was withdrawn and corticosteroids were not required [outcome not stated].
