Mary J. Ainslie is head of Film and Television programs at the University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus in Kuala Lumpur. Her research focuses upon the history and development of film in Thailand as well as the intercultural links between East and Southeast Asia. She is the recipient of several international grants and has published in Asian Cinema Journal, Korea Journal, the Women’s Studies International Journal and several edited collections. She also co-edited an edition of the Horror Studies Journal and the edited collection The Korean Wave in Southeast Asia: Consumption and Cultural Production. Mike Dillon received his PhD in Critical Studies from the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts and currently teaches film studies at California State University
