Editorial On the occasion of the twentieth anniversary of the establishment of the ¿rst hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in Germany, the editors are pleased to present a new analytical manual for the quality proof of Chinese herbal drugs that meets the high standards of the European Drug Regulatory Authority. The chromatographic TLC-, HPLC- and GC-¿ngerprint analytical technique described in the monographs has never been used in any Pharmacopoeia, although it is the most comprehensive
