It also introduces you to how things work, including receivers, antennas, and feed cables, etc. Also included are updates on the latest changes and advancements made in the field of radio astronomy.

Part II: Self-Build Tried and Tested Projects These projects were covered in the first edition but now contain updates and extra information that the reader will find useful when choosing what equipment will be suitable for different observing sites.
