Preface
The 14th meeting on Methods in Protein Structural Analysis (MPSA) was held in Valencia (Spain) September 8-12,2002. Approximately 200 researchers from more than two dozen countries, representing both the academic and the industrial worlds, attended the conference. The MPSA meetings began in 1974 as a small workshop organized with the aim of exchanging information on newly developed instruments and chemistry for N-terminal sequencing of polypeptides.
