Sunitinib Vulval skin toxicity in an elderly patient: case report A 68-year-old woman received sunitinib 50mg daily [route not stated] for 4 weeks followed by a 2 week break to treat advanced renal cell carcinoma; during week 2 of the second cycle, she experienced vulval pruritus and pain. Examination found outer lip erythema with two erythematous regions on the upper legs. Sunitinib was withdrawn, and the vulval skin toxicity resolved after 7 days without treatment. Sunitinib was successfully readministered at a reduced dose of 37.5mg daily without recurrence of vulval skin toxicity. Iacovelli R, et al.
