Pratima Bansal is an associate professor and the Shurniak Professor of International Business in the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario. She is also the Director of Ivey’s Centre for Building Sustainable Value. She researches business sustainability and international business through institutional and resource-based lenses. Her work has been published in the Academy of Management Journal, Organization Science, and the Strategic Management Journal. She also sits on the editorial boards of the Academy of Management Journal, the Journal of International Business Studies, and Organization and Environment. Mark Chong (PhD, Cornell University) is a corporate communication professor at the Lee Kong Chian School of Business, Singapore Management University. Prior to academia, he spent several years in corporate and marketing communication practice. Timothy Coombs (PhD, Purdue University) is an associate professor in corporate communication at Eastern Illinois University. His main area of expertise is crisis communication. He has published two books on crisis communication, the award winning Ongoing Crisis Communication and Code Red in the Boardroom. He has co-authored It’s Not Just PR: Public Relations in Society and Today’s Public Relations. He is also the author of numerous book chapters and journal articles. His work has appeared in the Management Communication Quarterly, Journal of Public Relations Research, Public Relations Review, Journal of Business Communication, Journal
of Public Affairs, Review of Business, Journal of Communication Management, and Business Horizons. Alexandre de Pádua Carrieri is Senior Lecturer in Organization Studies and Research Supervisor at the Nucleus of Organizational Studies and Symbolisms (NEOS), Department of Management, Federal University of Minas Gerais, Brazil. His current research interests include human resource management, organizational theory, culture, identity, symbolism, power relations and organizational change. Lars Fiedler has been a research associate at HHL – Leipzig Graduate School of Management since 2003, specializing in marketing management, branding, corporate branding and stakeholder management. HHL – Leipzig Graduate School of Management is Germany’s oldest business school, Founded in 1898 as Handelshochschule Leipzig and reopened in 1992, it is ranked among the leading business schools in Europe today. Mary E. Graham is Associate Professor of Organizational Studies in the School of Business at Clarkson University. She has contributed publications on incentive pay programs, gender-related pay disparities and perceptions of corporate reputation, including papers in Organization Science, Journal of Organizational Behavior, and Organizational Research Methods. She is a member of the editorial review board of the Human Resource Management journal and Human Resource Management Review.
