It is shown that addition of current AC-component (at the frequency of 100 Hz – 10 kHz) leads to increase of the coating formation rate and to structure quality changes of nanoporous TiO2 coatings: open intertubular space appears, intertubular bridges are formed and the nanotubes section form becomes round. INTRODUCTION The traditional method of nanoporous titanium oxide formation is electrochemical anodizing by direct current in electrolytes of various composition [1-5]. The structure of the formed titanium oxide depends on the substrate morphology, electrolyte composition and temperature. But the key parameter determining the structure parameters (pore diameter, their length) is anodizing voltage value. The majority of the studies of titanium oxide formation is carried out at constant anodizing voltage. In works [6-9] the possibility of structure control by step voltage is shown, but characteristic time of voltage change make up tens-hundreds seconds. Influence of alternating voltage overlapping with the frequency of 100 Hz – 1 MHz on anodizing direct voltage is not investigated in detail. The possibility of control of TiO2 coating structure has practical effect as the structure defines physical and chemical coating properties (catalytic activity, etc.). So, search of ways of structure control of nanoporous titanium oxide is almost important. EXPERIMENT For carrying out experimental research of nanoporous titanium oxide synthesis using the method of electrochemical anodizing by mixed AC-DC current a special-purpose stand the electric circuit of which is shown in figure 1 has been assembled. The stand included two identical compartments for carrying out anodizing process. To one of the compartments only anodizing voltage constant component was applied, to another compartment total voltage from a constant voltage source and generator was applied. The control of anodizing current was made by current shunts (R1, R2 resistors) and a digital oscilloscope (B, C channels). DC voltage control was made by the voltmeter, AC-DC voltage – by an oscilloscope (A channel).
