Abstract There is a close interaction relationship between tunnel unsymmetrical loading section and lateral slope, and tunnels and lateral slope should be analyzed synthetically as a synergetic system, thus providing more accurate theoretical basis for taking reasonable and protective measures in practical engineering. This paper is based on treatment project of shallow buried bias section slope of the Niubi Mountain tunnel. Considering the synergetic effect of tunnel and slope, the tunnel engineering index was added into the index system, and the evaluation model system for the treatment effect of shallow buried bias slope section of tunnels was established. According to the index system, the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model for treatment effect of shallow buried bias slope section of tunnel is established by analytic hierarchy process. The model for fuzzy comprehensive
evaluation is used to evaluate the treatment effect of Shallow Buried Bias Slope Section of Niubi Mountain Tunnel and five other similar cases. The evaluation results are consistent with the actual engineering results. Supported by a limited number of samples, the practicability of the proposed model is proved. The model of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation of treatment effect of shallow buried bias slope section of tunnel can be used in similar projects. It can help engineers make decisions during construction.

1 Introduction What is called unsymmetrical loading tunnel commonly means tunnels which sustain significant unsymmetrical load (The second survey and design institute of the China railways ministry 1995). Unsymmetrical loading of tunnel usually mainly exists in shallow section and portal section, and the reasons for which are classified into three aspects, including geography, geology and construction. As for the reason of geography, the unsymmetrical lo
