The book is dedicated to young women who enter into the wine industry in good faith with honorary titles, but without being aware of the potential threats for their emancipation. I wrote the book for those women who think that the exposure in the name of the profit in any industry is going to be useful for them. It is also dedicated to my son Izidor who recognized and pointed to the phenomenon of gender display as a child when he was observing the performance of wine queens in the rituals, or when they were in the media. It is my wish that he will be able to resist the omnipresent temptation to judge women as objects. And finally, I owe my gratitude to my mother and father for bringing me up with a firm notion of my own worth.
