While the world is remarkably progressing each day towards an advanced age of science and technology, at the same time the pace at which the pollutants are being produced and released into the environment is alarming. The dilution in the values of sustainability has produced pollutants that have impacted the air, soil and water environments to such an extent that their restoration in the present scenario seems to be an impossible task. Diverse pollutants having varied and serious effects have created a hostile environment which is not fit for a healthy life to thrive in.
