The motivation for writing book was to provide a comprehensive analysis of all aspects of integrity and safety of pipeline systems to the extent required for practical application. The book sums up ideas expressed in numerous articles penned individually and as a team by both authors, and although most of them went through double-review filters and were published in the proceedings of major international conferences and journals, they remain difficult to access.
