This double issue of the C[ MFT Journal is dedicated to the memory of Stephan Ruscheweyh who passed away in July 2019. Stephan was a founding editor of the journal and a driving force behind both the journal and the C[ MFT conferences. Throughout his life, he devoted much energy and time to increasing mathematics research in developing countries, and to beginning and growing new international collaborations. He was a leading researcher in several areas, supervised many students, and worked with many other mathematicians. He was widely respected for his devotion, his talent, and his integrity.
