Erratum: Diabetologia DOI 10.1007/s00125-012-2686-y Unfortunately, the units for metformin concentration were incorrectly reported as pg/ml instead of ng/ml in one set of results in this paper. The last sentence of Body weight and hormonal changes in the Results section should have read: The mean level of metformin in the plasma at the end of the study was 220.7±27.8 ng/ml in SC animals and 198.9± 18.0 ng/ml in HF animals (p00.497).
