Increased ALT following drug intoxication: case report In a study reporting hospital calls from 1 January 2018 to 31 May 2019 to the Swedish Poison Centre concerning patients with overdoses of paracetamol, one child [sex and exact age not stated] was described, who developed slightly increased ALT following paracetamol intoxication due to paracetamol overdose. The child was hospitalised due to ingestion of orodispersible paracetamol tablet at an overdose. Laboratory investigation showed increased ALT level (88.9 U/L) due to paracetamol intoxication [duration of treatment to reaction onset and outcome not stated]. Grass JN, et al.
