In preparing Primary Central Nervous System Tumors: Pathogenesis and Therapy, we set out to write a textbook that would be comprehensive yet accessible. We wanted readers to have access to the cutting-edge advances in molecular biology and genomics that are revolutionizing neuro-oncology; at the same time, we required that our authors provide practical clinical information that is needed to make intelligent therapeutic decisions. As you will see, we recruited some of the most accomplished neurologists, oncologists, cancer scientists, and nu
