Sandra Lapointe is Associate Professor of Philosophy at McMaster University. A Commonwealth alumna and Humboldt Fellow, she completed her PhD in 2000 at the University of Leeds. She specializes in the history of nineteenth- and twentieth-century analytical philosophy in Europe and has written extensively on Bolzano, Husserl, Frege, and Kant. Her publications include: Bolzano and Kant (Special Issue of Grazer Philosophische Studien, 85), Bolzano’s Theoretical Philosophy (2011); Qu’est-ce que l’analyse? (2008), and a number of other books, articles, and book chapters. She is the Chief Editor of the Journal for the History of Analytical Philosophy and the Academic Director of the Lewis and Ruth Sherman Centre for Digital Scholarship. Clinton Tolley is Associate Professor of Philosophy at the University of California, San Diego. He has held Mellon and Ford fellowships, and received his PhD from the University of Chicago. His work focuses on the influence of Kant’s idealism on later developments in theoretical philosophy, with a special interest in philosophy of logic and mathematics, theories of concepts, and accounts of intentionality. He has published in journals such as Journal of the History of Philosophy, European Journal of Philosophy, and History of Philosophy of Logic. He is currently working on a book on Kant’s transcendental idealism.
Contributors Chloe Armstrong is a PhD candidate at the University of Michigan. Currently concentrating on Leibniz’s modal metaphysics, her research interests include early modern and early analytic metaphysics and epistemology. Timothy Rosenkoetter is Assistant Professor at Dartmouth College. He works on Kant’s theoretical and practical projects, as well as in ethics more generally. Related publications include “Kant on Construction, Apriority, and the Moral Relevance of Universalization” (British Journal for the History of Philosophy, 2011) and “Kant and Bolzano on the Singularity of Intuitions” (Grazer Philosophische Studien, 2012). x
