It is our pleasure and privilege to introduce the book Frontiers in Pharmacology of Neurotransmitters covering a wide range of information about neurotransmitters and their receptors involved in the pathophysiology of various neurological disorders. In the last decade, substantial progress has been made in understanding the pathophysiological basis of various neurological disorders; however, the discovery and development of drugs for the treatment of such disorders is still an uphill task to the world of neuroscientists. Moreover, the prevalence of neurological disorders is increasing day by day, thereby imposing a great challenge to the researchers to fulfill the unmet demand and develop new therapeutic strategies.
