Trace metal contamination in coastal regions, especially estuaries, is of global concern due to their toxicity, abundance, and persistence in the environment and subsequent accumulation in organisms. The author’s knowledge and expertise on such emerging aspects have been reflected in the present book entitled, Trace Metals in a Tropical Mangrove Wetland: Chemical Speciation, Ecotoxicological Relevance and Remedial Measures. He has an intricate network and collaborative research program with globally – acclaimed scientists which have a certain reputation in this field of research.
