Triamcinolone Skin hypopigmentation: case report A 47-year-old African-American man received an injection of triamcinolone 40 mg in his left achilles tendon for achilles tendonitis. Five months later, he presented with an area of hypopigmentation, approximately 3 × 1.5 cm, around the site of primary corticosteroid injection.
