Infliximab Lymphomatoid papulosis: case report A 21-year-old man, who was receiving IV infliximab [Remicade] 5 mg/kg every 12 weeks and azathioprine for ileocolic Crohn’s disease, developed progressive abdominal pain, anorexia, weight loss of –10 pounds and scattered violaceous papular nodules on his extremities and buttocks [duration of treatment before reaction onset not stated]. He received prednisone and his pain and anorexia subsequently improved, but his rash persisted; rash biopsies were consistent with lymphomatoid papulosis. Infliximab therapy was withdrawn, and the rash improved. He remained clinically well with continued azathioprine treatment. Outlaw W, et al.
