Scleral thinning: case report In a prospective comparative study of 92 patients conducted in Muzaffarnagar Medical College, India from January 2018 to January 2019, a 45-year-old man* was described, who developed scleral thinning while receiving mitomycin [route not stated] to reduce pterygium recurrence. The man was prescribed with 0.01% mitomycin [Mitomycin C] eye drops twice daily for 5 days to reduce pterygium recurrence. At the follow-up on day 7, he was presented with scleral thinning, which was spontaneously resolved till the end of the month. * Identifying patient details (age and sex) have been obtained through direct communication with the author.
