Preface

Primordial prevention aims to avoid and attenuate the development of risk factors in the first steps. While usually therapeutic modalities are investigated for the management of non communicable diseases (NCDs), given that only supportive, and not curative, treatment can be provided for such diseases, preventive measures should be highlighted.
