Abstract Admission leads to many problems in the family, one of the most important of which is Stress parents. Therefore, specify The Effect of Religious Intervention on the Anxiety parents of hospitalized newborns in a neonatal department. The study was a semiexperimental study with experimental and control groups and before and after the intervention, Anxiety and care pressure questionnaires were given to parents. The religion intervention in the 8 Session parents of hospitalized newborns in a neonatal. Data were analyzed by SPSS16 and descriptive and analytical tests. The study indicated that religion has an effective role in enhancing and bettering stress of parents. Thus, it is suggested that a cleric be present in the section for religious intervention. Moreover, it is suggested that religious interventions should be done by nurses as a group of people with a close relationship with the patients and their parents.

Introduction Admission leads to many problems in the Patient and family (Vasigh et al. 2019; Khoshnood et al. 2018a, b), one of the most important of which is anxiety among the mothers (Nasreen et al. 2018; Borji et al. 2018). Anxiety is an exacerbated emotional state that involves anxiety or fear as well and is divided into obvious and hidden parts. The obvious anxiety can be seen as a segment of a person’s life, or in other words, the occurrence of that situation that related to stressful situations; however, the hidden anxiety refers to the individual differences in response to stressful situations with varying degrees of apparent anxiety. Obvious anxiety, like kinetic energy, refers to a reaction or tangible process that becomes intense at a given time and at a certain level (Nouhi et al. 2015; Telman et al. 2018; Buyuk and Bolişik 2018).
