Gastrointestinal bleeding: case report In a single centre retrospective observational cohort study of 84 patients conducted between 01 December 2012 and 30 June 2018 at the Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (LTHT), a patient [exact age and sex not stated] was described, who developed gastrointestinal bleeding during treatment with warfarin as anticoagulant therapy. The patient, who had left ventricular (LV) thrombus, received warfarin as anticoagulant therapy. Subsequently, he developed gastrointestinal bleeding requiring hospitalisation and blood transfusion [dosage, route, duration of treatment to reaction onset and outcome not stated]. Iqbal H, et al.
