Measles mumps and rubella virus vaccine/measles mumps and rubella virus vaccine (priorix) Urticaria and macular rash: 3 case reports In a retrospective study of 159 patients with food allergy vaccinated between 1 January 2015 and 30 June 2018, three male patients [ages not stated] were described, who developed urticaria or macular rash following administration of measles mumps and rubella virus vaccine (Priorix) or measles mumps and rubella virus vaccine. The patients, who had food allergy, were vaccinated with measles mumps and rubella virus vaccine (Priorix) [MMR Priorix; 2 patients] and measles mumps and rubella virus vaccine [MMR-II (1 patient); dosages and routes not stated]. Fifteen minutes after the vaccination, one patient developed urticaria, and within half an hour after the vaccination, the other two patients developed several macular rashes. Subsequently, they were treated with hydroxyzine [hydroxyzine dihydrochloride] which led to an improvement. Author comment: "[T]hree patients. . .developed reaction after the vaccination."
