Correction to: Antonie van Leeuwenhoek (2020) 113:1155–1165 https://doi.org/10.1007/s10482-02001422-5 In the published version of the article, the title should have read ‘Duganella rivi sp. nov., Duganella fentianensis sp. nov., Duganella qianjiadongensis sp. nov. and Massilia guangdongensis sp. nov., isolated from subtropical streams in China and reclassification of all species within genus Pseudoduganella’. A newly proposed name in the paper, Duganella rivus, was incorrectly formed. The name Duganella

rivus was changed to Duganella rivi, with the following description: Description of Duganella rivi sp. nov.
Duganella rivi (ri’vi. L. gen. n. rivi of a rivulet). Cells are Gram-stain-negative, facultative anaerobic, rod-shaped, motile with several flagella, 2.4–3.1 lm in length and 0.9–1.1 lm in width. The colonies are pale and convex. Growth occurs at 4–34 °C (optimum 24 °C), pH 4.0–10.5 (optimum 7.0–7.5) and NaCl 0–0.5% w/v (optimum 0%). It is positive for oxidase, catalase and urease, but negative for nitrate reduction, H2S production, phenylalanine deaminase, VogesProskauer test, methyl red test and indole production. It hydrolyses Tweens 20 and 40, aesculin and starch, but not Tweens 60 or 80, casein or gelatin. It utilises maltose monohydrate, D-lactose monohydrate, D-glucose, D-fructose, sucrose, L-arabinose and starch, but not D-trehalose dihydrate, glycerol, mannitol, D-sorbitol, L-glutamic acid, L-valine, glycine, L-serine, Laspartic acid, L-proline, sodium pyruvate, sodium oxalate, sodium formate dihydrate, sodium acetate anhydrous or disodium fumarate. It is negative for esterase (C4), esterase lipase (C8), lipase (C14), cystine arylamidase, trypsin, a-chymotrypsin, agalactosidase, b-glucuronidase, b-glucosidase, amannosidase and a-fucosidase, positive for alkaline phosphatase, leucine arylamidase, valine arylamidase,
