Vishay Intertechnology has launched a series of miniature snap-in aluminum power electrolytic capacitors intended to enable designs with high power density. The 193 PUR-SI series from Vishay BCcomponents offers a ripple current capability (maximum of 3.27 A) that is 30 % higher than standard solutions with the same dimensions enabling designers to use fewer components, save board space and reduce costs. The lifetime of 5000 h at 105 °C permits the use in challenging applications that require a capa citor lifetime of over 25 years at environmental temperatures of up to 60 °C. The series 193 PUR-SI, RoHS-conform capacitors are housed in a compact cylindrical case, operate with rated voltages up to 500 V and are also available in a threepin, keyed polarity snap-in version.

B-plus | Test Platform for AD and ADAS Applications
B-plus has launched its Brick2 recording und computing platform, a test system for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Autonomous Driving (AD). The system meets the growing requirements for time-synchronized data recording, powerful computational and storage solutions, and an open platform architecture. It is a modular system and is intended to be able to reproduce all test scenarios. The permanent writing speed of 24 Gb/s enables, for example, up to six

camera sensors with 8 MP resolution to be processed. Larger measurement arrays with multiple sensors can be realized using linked Brick clusters; a powerful processor and 64 GB working memory enable large amounts of data to be processed or can be used as a large ring buffer. Power supplies, memory and bus interfaces for CAN (FD), Flexray and Ethernet can be selected and configured as required for individual applications.

Toshiba Electronics Europe has developed a series of highly efficient N-channel Mosfets for automotive applications based on U-MOSVIII-H process technology. They are intended to promote the significant reduction in size of vehicle electronic control units. The XPN3R804NC and XPN7R104NC have a nominal voltage of 40 V; the XPN6R706NC and XPN12006NC support 60 V operation. All have low ON resistance values down to 3.8 mΩ and minimal leakage currents. The Mosfets are housed in surface-mounted TSON Advance (WF) packages and have a surface area of 3.3 × 3.6 mm. They can replace components sized 5 × 6 mm. Wett able flank terminals enable board mounting procedures and automated optical inspection.
Horiba | Second Generation Medas
MathWorks | Simulink Extension
Horiba has introduced the new version of the altitude simulation system Medas. It is suitable for tests with combustion engines regarding durability, emission tests and map calibration. The 5015 series achieves a maximum mass flow of 1500 kg/h, while the 5050 series is designed for large trucks and heavy duty applications up to 5000 kg/h. In addition, control accuracy, condensate formation and energy consum
